This is an old revision of the document!
Welcome
WPIK History is a place to store news and historical events once they are a week or more old. A resource, which over time, should become increasingly valuable for everyone not just students and journalists. A venue that can help people remember, consider and understand our world hopefully without political interference that's too common elsewhere.
For articles discussing other topics, please use whichever title seems the most appropriate. But, for news stories, whether national, local, or family events for which you feel there should be a record, please prefix those titles with a date for the occurrence in a year-month-date format such as 2025 10 29, e.g. 2024 10 16 victor mambor office ; and when the day or month are uncertain replace them with a 00.
Elsweher on this host (wpik.org) you're already find an extensive array of international news articles concerning West Papua, a history hoping to be rediscovered.
