-WPIK History is a place to store news and historical events once they are a week or more old. A resource, which over time, should become increasingly valuable for everyone not just students and journalists. A venue that can help people remember, consider and understand our world hopefully without political interference that's too common elsewhere.
+West Papua History is a wiki for West Papuan History and other West Papuan topics. A resource, which over time, should become increasingly valuable for everyone not just students and journalists.
-For articles discussing topics, please use whichever title seems the most appropriate. But, for news stories, whether national, local, or family events for which you feel there should be a record, please prefix those titles with a date for the occurrence in a year-month-date format such as 2025 10 29 ; and when the day or month are uncertain replace them with a 00.
+For articles discussing other topics, please use whichever title seems the most appropriate. But, for news stories, whether national, local, or family events for which you feel there should be a record, please **prefix those titles with a date** for the occurrence in a year-month-date format such as 2025-10-29, e.g. [[2024_10_16_victor_mambor_office|2024-10-16 victor mambor office]] ; and when the day or month are uncertain replace them with a 00.
-On this website you're already find an extensive array of international [[local:/Src/Papers|news articles]] concerning West Papua, a history hoping to be rediscovered.
+Elsewhere on this host (wpik.org) you're already find hundreds of international [[http://wpik.org/Src/Papers/index.html|news articles]] concerning West Papua, from 1910 to 2010; and at the [[https://awpasydneynews.blogspot.com|AWPA blog]]site you'll find daily reports since 2011. They'll just out of context and not indexed, therefore not meaningful for the majority of people unless somebody does put a number of the news stories into one of the meaningful stories about West Papua.
+After you've registered, how do you create a new article? Search for the title, and if it does not already exist, there will be a red link to create the page/article.
+Want inspiration? Want to start a topic but are not sure how to start? Why not copy the text from Wikipedia and start editing the parts you believe it has wrong about West Papua.
